Suck Fest.

This movie was horrible. Here's a list of what sucked:
-The acting
-The casting
-The music
-The Editing
-The entire movie.

Wow. Just... wow. I just read the novel for my English class, and I have to say that my class full of high school students could have made a better movie. Really. The movie didn't bug me as much as the CENSORSHIP: 90% of the novel was cut out. I understand that you can't fit 390+ pages of philosophical text into a two hour movie, but REALLY, they could have done a better job. Or at least just left it alone.

Also, I like Matt Dillon, but he was nothing like Jan.

Damn you I have successfully managed to exorcise this version from my memory completely and then you had to go and mention Matt Dillon as Jan. Now it's like one of those song hooks you don't want to hear because it will end up ALL you hear!
