M. Night Shyamalan to direct remake!!

The cast will be as follows:

* Will Smith as William of Baskerville
* Justin Bieber as Adso
* Scarlett Johansen as The Girl
* Samuel L. Jackson as Bernardo Gui (just beat out Christopher Walken)
* Bill Murray as Salvatore
* Paul Giamati as Brother Berenger (was supposed to be Philip Seymour Hoffman)
* Morgan Freeman as Brother Jorge

Soundtrack delivered by Eminem.

The plot will be slightly tweaked to make Brother Berenger's story and his struggles to be accepted by his brethren for his sexual orientation more prominent. The Girl will feature prominently as the champion for women's rights. Will Smith will break out some classic lines delivered in a way to emphasize his place as an oppressed minority among the order.

Release date is targeted for December of 2015! Can't wait!!!

Obviously the production has changed. Now it'll be set at a nunnery where all the characters are super awesome and badass and beautiful, capable of anything except identifying with fictional characters unlike themselves in race or gender or sexual orientation.

Paul Fiege's "The Name of the Mary Sues" will be produced by Sony and star Melissa McCarthy.
