Okay, so how old is she supposed to be? Because from what I can tell, she's wearing a seafoam green jumper-type thing with ruffles, over a pink shirt with also ruffles, and not one, but TWO hearts. I know one was a locket, but still. So, how old was she, because although this outfit is atrocious anyway, if she's over the age of 10, it's just absurd.
shareLol, the whole movie is absurd! I'm going to assume she was about 12 or 13 and the bad fashion sense was because in this movie all good things had to be pleasant and cute, and if you're good then you have to be sickeningly sweet in all ways, fashion sense included.

Oddly enough, my sister and cousin had overalls similar to Megan and Molly's, really frilly, pastel colored with sickeningly cute embroidery on the chest(hearts and flowers and such). It's kinda strange when you look back at it from now, but some people actually wore that kind of stuff back in the day.
Meaghan is now, like My Little Pony itself, a singer---she's.....all about that bass..that bass....that bass...no treble....that bass...that bass! Meaghan Trainor rules! 15, by the way..

Yes, I realized this back in, on, let's just say 1984 when the first of these aired. 14-15, I'd say, daring for a "cute little special"(where "pre-teens" like Strawberry Shortcake and other little girls were the minors around..no teens before Megan, so MLP the original in 84 was a pioneer, and that makes horse sense..given pioneers rode horses..horse laughs)(
PS the uniform you mention originated in that movie..
