Wasn't Antonio Banderas so incredibly sexy in this film??

One of Almodovar's BEST.

I concur with your other comments, bettyo70.

The movie is perhaps a little difficult to understand for people who have no cultural knowledge of Spain, especially not of the Spain immediately after Franco.

A highly enjoyable movie IMO and 9.5/10

Loved Almodóvar's cameo BTW.

And he's still sexy now. Watching him in this and Richard Gere in DAYS OF HEAVEN would likely give me palpitations.

It's so odd seeing him young, as I'm used to seeing him in his 30s, but yes, he looks like a male model in this.
