The first decent Almodóvar film??

Having seen, Almodovar's earlier and later films I have reached the conlusion that this is his first decent film, not as good as later films but certainly as eccentric and unique.

i'd have to respectfully disagree. i think Almodovar's first really decent film is What Have I Done to Deserve This?

I haven't seen "What have I done to deserve this", but for me this is his first serious film, and one of the darkest, but at the same time his most artistic film of the 80's, great movie!

I'd say his last decent one. I much prefer his earlier, quirkier stuff over his later, pretentious "I desperately want to be Douglas Sirk" output.

I agree with you, I think his best movie is "¿Qué he hecho yo para merecer esto?" but "Matador" was pretty fine and entertaining.+

For me it will always be "Tie Me Up, Tie Me Down" then "Kika" I've had the pleasure of seeing both films on the big screen.

I shall call him Squishy and he shall be mine and he shall be my Squishy.
