I saw it way back when it came out and remember thinking it was charming and funny. I have been looking for a copy for a while, various internet vendors, ebay of course but no luck. Could anyone point me in the right direction or am I out of luck.
shareIt's available on DVD from Australia, PAL format, they put it out as region 0 instead of the normal region 4 for Australia, so you just need to be able to play PAL DVDs.

The DVD quality is great, anamorphic widescreen, mono audio though but has a heap of extras, Nadia Tess & David Parker commentary track, press kit - reviews / awards / photos, trailer and interviews at the AFI awards.

Looks to me like they finally released it on DVD in the States as of September. Just saw it over @ half.com, although it's a bit expensive (~$16/copy); Amazon is about the same for most. BTW: The DVD has the same rather incorrect cover art that the VHS had. The split-up getaway car shown as left-hand drive (remember, this is an Aussie film!).
