Very Cute Movie!

From Malcolm's tram, to the "split-in-half" getaway car to probably one of the wackiest bank robberies on film, this has it all. I remember buying this on VHS for about $3.99 at the local Blockbuster about 15 years ago. The cover art looked interesting although a bit inaccurate. Shows Malcolm and the thieves driving the split car, but show it as left-hand drive. Now I think we all know that Aussie cars are right-hand drive! Anyhow, I'm going to order the Aussie DVD since my video is getting a bit worn out (yes, I've watched it loads of times!).

I used to have it on VHS but lent it out and never got it back.

My favourite line is: "Hey Frank, did they glue your dad's head back on for the funeral?"

Yeah i watched this again last night i love this movie the most innocent heist robbery movie ever.

Update... I got the DVD for Christmas and watched it again last night... Just as enjoyable as I remember it - a really fab little film.

Everyone I have show this film to absolutely loved it......even thought they had never heard of it. It's an underrated gem.

I remember seeing it on tv in the eighties and fell in love with the movie,eventually picked up an ex rental vhs copy I passed that vhs around at work/friends at the time,everybody loved the film.Recently picked up the aussie dvd when it was released.This film is a real gem with great performances from all concerned.

I agree i love this movie, havent seen the cover for some years so cant comment on that but just watched the movie again and its definitely a right hand drive car in the movie :) awesome movie
