i love this movie to death. grew up on it and i will love it forever. sorry but that is the way it goes

I am with you on this. I love this movie very much and think it's underrated.
It is interesting to know that while people consider it a flop and 'The Natural' a big hit - there is only 7M $ difference between them (Legal Eagles grossed 107.20M while The Natural made 114.40M). It also got some pretty good reviews at the time.

I think It's one of Redford's best performances ever. He is relaxed and loose as he never was before or after. He is magnetizing.
