Following the events of King Kong Lives, was there ever going to be a third film planed? I’m guessing that they would have to rec-con the end of Kong Lives much like they did the first one, to explain a third film? who knows?

We got a lot more than just a 3rd film. We got a remake, plus another one where he fights Godzilla
