It doesnt deserve to be considered a film, and even less to be considered a Sci-Fi.
Obviously it is a Communist plot to fool IMDB.
It would have some interest if we were told that the KGB devised it as part of their torture techniques.
Shame on IMDB.

And why are the only posts on this board that I see are just about either how horrible this movie was, or how great it was?
the reason is simple....
people who understand it love it, people who were looking for a usual sci-fi adventure and missed the point of this film hate it, and i do not blame them, if you are looking for a "star wars" kind of film than this one is quite horrible

Ok, this film is in the top ten Sci-fi movies of all time on imdb.com, and yet no one has seen it. Sad, really.
It's very unusual film. Like when they're playing and singing that terrible "Mama" song, and the girl said "Cool!". By the way, I liked that girl with a vehicle.
And - "Strangers in the Koo" ... :-)
