Was the blonde aerobics main instructor an escort?

I remember watching KILLER WORKOUT so long ago. In an early scene, a car pulls up to the aerobics studio and a young, blonde woman dressed in 80s leotards gets out. She's the main instructor and is late for her class. She drops her purse to the asphalt and the contents spill out. When she bends down you see that a lot of packaged condoms spilled out. I mean a lot; more than a single woman would presumably need for a dating relationship. At the time I laughed, assuming the director was making a joke about the blonde.
Years later I got to thinking, no, it was something else. Could it have been the blonde aerobics instructor may have been a prostitute on the side? That could be the reason her purse held so many new, single condom packages. I think the director was making a private adult joke that could be only understood by adults. I was so naive. Maybe the blonde instructor was late because she was busy with a 'client' elsewhere. What do you think?

No, i think her character was just a slut.

That's probably it althought the movie didn't show her sleeping around. In fact there was very little to suggest she was promiscuous. Her character seemed more sleazy than slutty. There's a difference between the two, although a person can be both. Remember, some people are capable of living a 'secret life' on the side. It's been a fact that many women have discretely or secretively undertaken prostitution on the side, whether as an independant or freelance operator, or very discretely through an agency. Over the past decades I've read stories in the news of professional women doing paid sex on the side. These included, college students, law school students, secretaries, airline stewardesses, dance studio instructors, exercise fitness instructors, corporate or business women, and most scandalous, female military officers.

I think in the end there was some mystery as to what she was up to. But it's more likely you're right and my initial impression was right. She's just a sexually active woman prepared for safe, protected sex.
