Canadian horror rocks!

Nobody is discussing this movie, probably because my friends and I are the only ones who appreciate it, but I thought I would start a discussion in the event that someone actually looks up this movie! You can read my summary of the movie, which I didn't detail much, but if you want to chat about it or other 80s horror films...reply!!!

Hey! I'll talk to you about 80's slasher films! lol. I havn't seen Killer Party, but I have seen a good amount considering I'm from the UK and we don't some of the more obscure ones are extremely difficult to get hold of. What do you want to talk about?

reply

Hey, not sure if you still check this posting or not...I haven't been around these parts in probably a year. Still up for chatting about obscure horror?

I like this movie too! In fact, I bought the vhs from ebay. I first saw it on USA "up all night" (I wish they would bring that back) after that I knew I had to have it. A great 80's horror film!!

Yes Canadian horror does rock and I am looking foreward to the new Ginger Snaps opening here in the next week or so. I'd be interested in giving guided tours of some of the famous sites filmed in Canadian horror flicks from the past. I would love to see the house where they filmed Black Christmas, or the abandoned school where they filmed Prom Night, or the skyliner (?) towers from Cronenberg's SHIVERS. Chilling. But speaking of Canadian horror...does anyone recall this film about two girls and a guy snowmobiling through the wilderness and they stay at an abandoned hotel in the woods? It was kind of like The Shining with teens. The only thing i remember was a blonde bimbo and a bathtub scene. I know they filmed it in Lake Louise but I've never known the name of it.

That would be really awesome to get a guided tour of canadian horror movie sites! I love the Ginger Snaps trilogy. I wish those films would have gotten theatrical releases. It's a shame when good horror films go straight to video and we're subjected to garbage like They, The Ring remake and Jeepers Creepers.

Um dude, this is a AMERICAN Horror film, not Canadian, I don't think the full cast is Canadian, I think most of them are American. Just sayin' :)

Okay so if it is "Canadian", can you have proof of it?
