Martin Hewitt: From "Endless Love" to this. Odd progression

Sure, actors come and go, or have one shot at the gold, but Martin was picked out of 4000 men to star in Endless Love (it says). Even if it was not a good film, it was a very prolific debut. In only a couple of years he's in Killer Party, and later soft-core films. There is a thread on his board about it. Only he knows why.

He wasn't that great an actor and got by on his handsome/beautiful looks in his prime. I like Endless Love and he was decent enough in the role; but wasn't convincing enough to prove that he really had what it takes to really bring his complex character alive. He wasn't quite up to the task.
