Gheorghe Zamfir's pan flute

I'm sitting here listening to the beautiful score from the movies. And then I'm reading about it online and I found this page over at Discogs:

According to that Zamfir is not the one playing the pan flute in the second movie?! Does anyone know more about this? Is it incorrect? If it's true, do you know why he didn't play on the second but came back for the third? And who then is playing during the second?
