Very underrated Music Score...

The score for KK2 is, to me, very good and *sooo* underrated.

Seen this about a thousand times, and after it's over, I always find myself humming the score. All. The. Time.

I think the best part (if not *thee* best part) of the Score would have to be the tea ceremony between Kumiko and Daniel. No words are said, and everything is conveyed with music. It's such a good part. Especially after she lets her hair down. She was straight up beautiful and Daniel did *not* deserve her, I think. But that's for another topic.

Anyway, what do you guys think? Are you a fan of the Score in this? It's definitely, for me, the best score out of the three films. (The Next Karate Kid doesn't count. That shít was pure garbage.)

KK2 has the best everything of all three films: best score, best visuals, best story, best villain (KK2 has the only KK villain who is not a completely one-dimensional cartoon caricature, I don't mean Chozen, but rather his teacher who starts out hating Miyagi), best female cast, best romance subplots, best finale (fight to the death vs. a pointless sissy sparring match in the other two films, ROFL!), best conclusion (Daniel and Miyagi both find wives and live happily ever after with them), best closing song (I consider this to be the very best part of the score...it fits perfectly with the whole theme of the film).

Y'know...gotta say I agree with ya on pretty much everything you said. Can't *disagree* with ya, anyway.

Just on one difference. Personally, I'd take Elisabeth Shue over (I can't remember Kumiko's real name.) Any day.

But believe me, Kumiko is a *very* close second.

But yeah, KK2 is, to me, a very *solid* sequel. Sure, you kinda know that Daniel would "overcome" the odds again and everything, but, compared to alot of other sequels, at least it wasn't a straight up rehash of everything.
