This would have made the movie really cool, oh well.

I'm kind of glad that didn't happen because we wouldn't be getting the new Cobra Kai series like it's shaping up to be.

That's actually a much better story than what we were given. I always wanted Johnny and Daniel to become actual friends. Cobra Kai almost goes there, and then it makes them enemies again, which is so disappointing.

Come on, we don't always want infinite conflict, isn't human race of this planet already advanced enough to be able to appreciate peace and friendship? How long is it going to take?

Johnny and Daniel becoming and being friends opens up SO many interesting storylines to explore, but I guess only a handful of people are interested in that.

I don't like the idea of Johnny having been beaten - Johnny could be like a big brother that defends Daniel, and they could learn from each other. Johnny could teach Daniel musclebuilding and such techniques, and take him jogging early in the morning, while Daniel could teach Johnny meditation, balance, inner peace and 'being in the moment' - not thinking, yet not dreaming, the focused mind.

Johnny should have become friends with Daniel after KK1 and gone with him and Mayagi to Japan and gotten really badly beaten up (hospital) by Chozen with Daniel's final fight against Chozen being partly to avenge his friend.
