Originally to have starred Olivia Newton-John + Bryan Brown

Long time Olivia fan here. All that I can remember at the time was that she had too much on her plate. A large tour, a huge album (promotion), and the pretty bad film "Two of a Kind" which was a huge disaster and I think because of the combo of those things she backed out of it. I remember she did "Two of a Kind" because "Kangaroo" got delayed for some reason. I also remember most of all though that she WAS going to definitely do this film and she was the producer's first choice for the film. I think "Two of a Kind" shook her faith in doing another film and if it didn't shake hers, it must have shook the producer's of the not yet filmed "Kangaroo" at the time.
