Obese generation

The depictions of the characters in this movie are spot on! Thin was in, so was aerobics. Guess people aren't used to seeing what "healthy" looks like, what with so many obese people nowadays. And not just adults, teenagers, wait, even toddlers! Yeah, they banned smoking in a lot of places, that's a good thing. But if you think Mary Tyler Moore and Christine Lahti were too skinny, you're all nuts. MTM most likely kept her weight down due to to her diabetes, that's smart. Christine Lahti has always been thin, and she was much younger then. As for the movie, I enjoyed it's comedy and drama, as well as it's corny ending.
