I love this movie and would never watch a dubbed foreign movie by choice. But I know my mother would like this movie, but she has difficulty reading subtitles and following the film at the same time!
Is there a DVD out there which has an English audio option?

I totally agree. I HATE any dubbed movie. I was only asking as my mother would love this movie, but has trouble reading subs and following the film. That is all, I was not starting a debate!
shareThe best I can suggest is to read the subtitles to her. You don't want to turn off the audio track, as then you would lose the music, which is important. But I think you could read the subtitles aloud without much interference from the French dialog, since it is fairly sparse.
Or did you already figure something out?

Thank you for your reply. I know what you mean about dubbed versions, that even lose the music etc. I guess she could just try harder to watch the screen and read the bottom of it at the same time. I love Foreign movies myself and am used to this method, but she is not. regards, Steve.
