Somebody organise the brain trust and devise a scheme to get this back on the 250. Anyone have any ideas. I've set up 50+ dummy accounts. It doesn't seem to have had a difference.

It won't. You shouldn't be setting up stupid schemes. Enjoy the fine film and encourage other people to watch it. Embrace the classics, ratings do not mean anything.

If it should go on to the top 250, it will. Creating dummy accounts wont do. 50 votes doesnt make that much of a difference. Plus, even if you did put it into the 250, the problem would be to keep it there.
So, relax, and let nature take its course on this one.

Dummy accounts won't work, because they only count votes from regular voters for the top 250.
Just do your bit by remembering the film and recommending it to people who might like it.
I don't have IMDb Pro, but have a snapshot of the Top 500 on the 15/08/2011. On that day it was at 424 and Manon of the Spring at 488.
Does it really matter. It was lauded at the time but to a new generation of film goers outside of France, not that well known these days except the music.
