It was a fantastic movie that I have yet to see on cable TV despite the numerous showings of other movies of the genre. To me this one personified everything I loved about 80's action/adventure. I was bummed as a kid when their wasn't any Jake Speed action figures or toys released from the film I was the kind of kid that really felt inspired by the character and would loved to have seen it as a franchise like Indiana Jones was. This was the type of movie that inspired me in so many ways as a writer.

I love this film! Lol It inspired me as well. Its such a simple action flick. I cant put my finger on why its my most favorite movie of all time yet it is. Jake Speed. Gosh, Yeah it still rocks.

With all the 80's nostalgia I figured this movie would get it's cable time. It was on cable often when I was a kid and was the only way to watch b/c I never saw it on the shelves at the video store. I loved this movie and watched it whenever it came on. Thanks Netflix for bringing this movie back. It was great fun.
