Why not reboot it?

Here's a thought. Why not reboot the movie as a TV series? Keep the same characters, but Jake Speed has been updated to the Internet age. Has his own social media site, blog, etc. Des, HARV (greatest vehicle ever!) and Sid would be all be updated as well. The series could follow their adventures on a weekly basis.

I know I would watch this.
