Goof! Will the Maverick fire from the ground?

Stupid question. Yes, it will. There is nothing in the F-16 that will prevent a weapon from launching on ground level. The Maverick will however, fall onto the ground directly under the wing, as the rocket will take a brief second to fire and propel the missile. Will the aircraft deploy the weapon? Yes. Will it work? No.
