He was really awful, how did he get hired to be a lead in this movie? He sounded like he was reading all his lines off cue cards....

He was the lead actresses' real life son. I guess it was a package deal.

Wow I didn't realise he was Karen Blacks' son, she wasn't that great in this but I've liked her in a lot of other movies - her son is no Henry Thomas or Haley Joel Osment that's for sure, he wasn't good enough to carry this Film.

I agree. The kid was an extremely poor actor! It was impressive, really.

Nepotism at its worst. Hooper should have taken one look at his performance and insisted on casting someone with talent.
