Is this the 'baboon movie' I caught the end of on TV?

I'm trying to find out the name of a movie I saw on TV about 5 years ago but I only saw the last 30 minutes of it. It took place in the African jungle where a scientist had been studying baboons. He left a diary in the watchtower where his laboratory was located but he was found dead, probably killed by baboons.
The baboons attacked the tower, hundreds of them climbing up the metal supports and smashing in the windows where the main actor (who?) was trapped.
But he managed to escape and the final scene was of him getting into a rubber raft and sailing away from the beach where the baboons had chased him.
Is this movie "In the Shadow of Kilimanjaro"?

Unfortunitely no this movie ends with rain and everybody getting safe. I don't know which film is the one you saw. I saw this movie when I was really young and I remember I liked it.

The movie you mean is Primal Force with Ron Pearlman :o)

Thank you for the reply; I have not checked my account for five years!
Now, how to find "Primal Force" on DVD or VHS? Many movies made for TV are just not available in any format. Thanks again.

It turns up on the Sci-Fi channel now and then.
