propangandaish.

The whole movie was propaganda. Many movies are. In and of itself, "propaganda" isn't necessarily a bad thing. Propaganda doesn't mean "lie." It just means "political message," either for or against something.

i don't like the soviets

The barn scene made you hard, huh?

You don't need to love the soviets to hate the nazis. And you don't need to love the soviets to understand the horrors the people in communist countries suffered in the nazi hands. Unless you think all the hate the nazis receive is unjust.

reply

i hate both, equally

reply

It's a Soviet movie. Most movies from this era/region were propaganda and they were all Soviet-permitted. It goes with the territory.

reply

Oh, of course, only the soviet movies are "propangandaish". None of the hundreds of US war movies are propagandists or pro-US.
