A World Class Brilliant Film

I loved this film. I watched it many times. I was touched everytime I watched it. I wish I could find a tape or DVD of the movie. It was brilliant and full of feeling as well as mystery and enigma. KPAX did not get near it!!!

I remember this movie when it first came out and loved it. I haven't seen it since 1986 but it's stayed long on my memory.

This film is nothing short of astonishing and I sometimes think of it as "The Kubrick Who Fell To Earth".

It is quite simply one of the most masterful pieces of cinema ever created, so wickedly sublime and yet unabashedly poignant. Forget The trash that is KPAX, but I saw another film starring Richard Gere which seemed a much more similar remake although the title eludes me for the moment.

I'm by the way I think Kevin Spacey is a national treasure. That movie was not his best work.
That was a "I need to buy a house in Bel Air movie."
