Gotta agree, there's never been a better anime and probably never will be.
shareHardly. There are better. The fighting sequences get boring after a few episodes. the violence isn't that violent anymore by nowadays standards, so nothing special there. The story is kinda lame. Also, I've seen better drawings in anime.
Doesn't change the fact that it's quite enjoyable to watch. There's some nice scenery too.

I don't see how the fighting sequences are boring and the scenes are still quite violent, even by today standards.
What is so lame about the story? It's much different from the typical Shonen animes you usually see.
As for the better drawings, well it's an 80s anime. It's not like it's gotta be some kind of masterpiece at this point but for an anime back then, it was pretty good and it still is today.
