Most over-hyped schlock ever.

See, everybody raves about this flick, and I think it is, literally, the most over-hyped film ever made. Rutger Hauer's character could be absolutely anywhere and everywhere, could get away with absolutely anything, and was just as generally written as this ridiculously OP god-like evil caricature that had absolutely no realistic limits whatsoever. TH completely wrecked my suspension of disbelief in the first half an hour or so and left me utterly incapable of taking any of it seriously.

Overhyped? Nobody ever even talks about it.

By the way, there are theories that he may be some kind of demon or other horrific supernatural figure, so that could explain his OP actions. It could very well be true.

Stick to the Fast&Furious movies, they seem to be more your speed.

I saw it 15 years ago because of the hype and was… underwhelmed. It was alright, nice simple set-up but didn’t really go anywhere interesting.

I’d like to see it again, see what I missed, but your post has reminded me how meh it was.
