Dumbest line?

I think it's when jim picks up ryder in the beginning and is all like "My mom told me never to do this." Uhh ya she was right.

I always thought the delivery of the line "It's not my car, it's a driveaway" sounded so dumb. I don't know why, but just listen to the way C.Thomas Howell says it.

I hope they didn't tie up your hands as tight as mine. I'll see you on the bed of this blue ocean babe sometime.

Dumbest line?

How about ""Chill out dickwad", that was pretty damn dumb.
Oh you mean in this film?

Ryder: Say, I want to die
Kid: Say what?
Ryder: Say it
Kid: I don't know if I can say that.

Just sounded dumb for some reason, perhaps it's all due to how the line was delivered by the actor.

I thought it was a bit odd when the cop said; "Any idiot can see he's not a killer", before locking him up for murder.

That's called CYA. They don't know the full story, so they're holding onto their primary witness.

Amy: I swear to God...I swear to God! That is NOT how you treat your human!

I think they locked him up as a material witness. In any event they had enough to hold him, despite Starr's (the sergeant) doubts.

"I mean, really, how many times will you look under Jabba's manboobs?"

C. Thomas Howell isn't the greatest actor in the world.

It was in the remake, when the cop yells "You've gotta be 5-finger F-ing me!"
