Hammer To Fall

It's a good song but I don't think it really fits the tone of the scene with the crazy Marine driving around. I'd pick Stone Cold Crazy. What Queen song would you pick for that scene?

Ha ha! How about Another One Bites The Dust?

Possibly Sheer Heart Attack, from News of the World.

I always thought this song was on the album Sheer Heart Attack. Mind Blown!

Yeah, "Hammer to Fall" seemed kind of inappropriate.
"A Dozen Red Roses For My Darling" (the 12 inch version) would have been great for that scene.

Is this the song played while The Kurgan drives around with that old lady in the car?

Probably, but it's hard to tell because that scene is so short.

A Dozen Red Roses For My Darling is basically just a demo/instrumental version of Don't Lose Your Head.

Yes, you're right.
I remember listening to the 12" version in a loop back then in 1986.
I think it's actually better than "Don't lose your head"... And probably also better than the A-Side: "A kind of magic"...
But that's just my two cents.

There are actually a couple of very interesting songs on Queen B-sides like "Soul Brother" and "I Go Crazy" that can't be found on any (official) album.

Yes. I know.
Though, most of the b-sides were included on deluxe 2CD 2011 album remasters.
