Why the 1989 relase date???
the film was made in 1986 and the guy who played Dickens died in 1987, so why was there such a long time until its release.
thanks for any info, "Hell High" is underrated.
I believe that certain projects may get shelved for awhile. It may have been a budgeting issue or what not.
shareOn the DVD commentary the director talks about how the film would get distributed in certain cities for a week and then move to another city and that it went on for a year or more so it could be that it took a while to get around. I never heard that it was in 86 could be your getting wrong internet information
shareIt was shot in 1985, completed in 1986, but not released until 1989. The credits plainly show a 1986 copyright.
