Recycled beginning

I just saw Clint Eastwood's 1972 Joe Kidd for the first time on THIS TV network last night. That movie, set in 1890s New Mexico, begins with Clint waking up in jail hung over. Another inmate taunts him and Clint ends up knocking him out cold. Clint is then hauled off to court by the sheriff to face charges of disorderly conduct and urinating in public, for which the judge lets him off with a slap on the wrist, after which the sheriff lights into Clint and vows retaliation. All that was missing were the Marine high and tight crewcut, the raspy voice and scarred throat.

I never realized that Clint had recycled the beginning of Heartbreak Ridge from Joe Kidd. Has he recycled that particular beginning for any other movies?

There was a deleted scene where he told the Lt "Go ahead, make my rack!".
