Most of the humour flows through Allen's character.

So much so, that I missed him when he wasn't on screen.

Here's my short. spoiler-free review of the film.

Huh, I thought his "funny bits", although entertaining, were the least important part of the film.

I always miss Woody when he's not in a scene - in all of his movies.

In this film, he, along with Dianne Wiest and Max Von Sydow (who knew he'd be so good with the comedy after his iconic dramatic role as Father Merrin!), were the standouts for me.
