Japanese workers live by a different set of morals than we do and unlike here, they're not a litigious society. They do not have the same labor laws there as we do here. No, what I meant was the Japanese bosses thought they could bring their labor rules and customs to America and force them on the workers in terms of pay and hours. You are not allowed to work overtime without being paid at least time and a half if you're an hourly employee.
