I remember a couple of years ago there was going to be a sequel of some sorts. It was going to involve Basil rescuing or helping Mickey mouse. I would love to see a sequel and was just wondering if the project is cancelled or are they still going ahead with it. Has anyone else heard about this film?

shareYou're referring to the unproduced film, The Search for Mickey Mouse. It's explained on Wikipedia that production was suspended in the early 2000s because the cameos of the other Disney characters grew too gimmicky, and was replaced with Mickey, Donald, Goofy: The Three Musketeers (2004).
