I wonder how they did the "bottomless" cavern where Chandler gets the dagger. I am especially interested in the behind the scenes of that cavern.

I'd like to see a behind-the-scenes take on the cavern too, but i sincerely doubt it was a real cavern, i'm sure it was just a big ass Hollywood soundstage. Even then, a behind the scenes tour of this movie would be cool.

There was a floor, but it was covered with some kind of a magical barrier that destroyed and annihilated anything that fell on it from above. Including that coin that Chandler dropped into the abyss to see how deep it was, not to mention that loose pillar he stepped on that went straight down like a piledriver, nearly sending him plummeting into the chasm as well.
