How come there is no mention of this anywhere on IMDB? That's clearly Jim Carrey.

Its called a cameo.

It is not Jim Carrey. It is an actor named Pons Maar, who also played "Saurod" in Masters of the Universe and the theater manager in the remake of The Blob. Check the credits.

It never occured to me that he looks like Jim Carrey (would also fit his comedy style as well) so I was suprised when I read this and thought that guy could be jim carrey..
then I read again and realised it wasn't him after all.

I totally disagree, Eddie Murphy is actually a very good actor, Jim Carrey, not so much.
