On DVD
Does anybody know if this movie is out on DVD, preferably region 4. Thanks in advance.
shareAt least to my knowledge it does not appear to be on DVD. Luckily for me, I found a VHS copy for just $1 in 2008.

I own it on DVD under the title "Hostage Dallas" it was distributed by CMP (The Company of Motion Pictures) here in The Netherlands. According to the information on the back it is All regional encoding so you should have no trouble watching if you can get their copy. The only downside is that the CMP DVD copy contains permanent Dutch subtitles possibly because it could be a VHS rip, the quality of the movie is good.
Keeping the 80s up to date
Sad it is not available in US on DVD.
In the late 1980's I watched it on VHS. Vestron Video was the distributor .... wonder what happened to them?
Getting Even is well-done thriller, with good acting. Shame people cannot see it.
