This movie was amazing!

I mean, it was no cinematic masterpiece or anything, but I thought it was funny as hell. The plot was pretty standard, and some of the scenes were random, and the acting varied, but it had some really funny subtle moments. I found it at BigLots! for $3.99, and I'm glad I picked it up. If you like silly, dark comedy, and cheesy '80s stuff, check it out!

Congratulations!
I found it at Big Lots for $2.00
Maybe when they start paying people to take the remaining copies home with them, they can make room for some movies that dont rate a minus 10.

i agree 100% with kung-fu-wabbit. i never knew it was a comedy. it was disturbing, literally THE most boring thing i've seen, and it generally didn't have my idea of a good film in it at all. the only movie i;ve ever disliked. i'm glad it's this unpopular.

Yeah, that's never a good thing in for a comedy, this sort of thing should be obvious. I assumed it would turn into a horror film by the end....nope. A bit of a mess, really. I only watched it for Jan Hooks and Lane Davies, neither of them disappointed though.

Yeah it was pretty good for $4 I bought it at K-Mart lol. It also came with Carnival of Souls & The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari. Funland I'd say was the best one. I liked the clown he was funny!

I picked it up at Wal-Mart because I confused it with Funhouse off of the video nasties list. Ended up being worth what I paid for it, which is more than I can say for a lot of stuff I've seen.

I found this film's oddball dark humor to be quite funny. David Lander was a hoot as the unhinged Neil Stickley. My favorite wacko gag was the ridiculous sudden rap song and dance routine in the park cafeteria.

Totally agree with the original poster, this movie was awesome! A friend of mine also got it for a few dollars on one of those triple feature things they have at supermarkets so I was expecting something pretty awful but I was pleasantly surprised!

The characters were really funny and I even found myself laughing out loud a couple of times. Not only that but the last shot with the guy and little girl walking out was really creepy! Thought the ending was great.

The actor who played Neil/Bruce was epic. Deff. worth a rainy day watch!

Yeah, it had comedic moments no doubt, but it's supposed to be a horror movie. When it's marketed as a psycho clown movie, and yet ONE person dies... at the very end of the movie... it's a failure. Even then it's a bad guy that dies, by a non gory gunshot, so who cares?

The clown doesn't even start to go crazy until like 45 mins into the film. The 4.0 is correct, it would be a 1 but the comedy at least had me chuckling a few times.

"Did you mean for all those words to come out like that or did they just fall out randomly?"-H.H.

Ahh, boo hoo, the clown hardly kills anyone. Funland was so weird and different that I didn't even notice the almost total lack of violence/gore. It has enough strange moments and interetsing characters to be more than worth the 4.99 I paid for it. Funland was a good time.
