Did Jason recognized Tommy?

At the beginning in the cemetery when Jason awakens and attacks Tommy, did Jason knew it was Tommy or just another random victim?

At the end Jason is about to kill Megan, Tommy calls him out from the lake in saving Megan and Jason goes after Tommy instead.

The last time Jason saw Tommy was when Tommy was 12 year old and he killed Jason.
