Loved this film...

I loved Fortress as a kid in the 80’s and I still love it now.

That being said though I was only 9 in 1985 and this film certainly traumatised me BIGTIME. Those masks, they were scary as hell!

In particular the Duck mask terrified me. I can remember the scene when you first see him outside the classroom window. After seeing that for the first time I just couldn’t watch it again without covering my eyes or looking away. I literally couldn’t watch it. It gave me nightmares for years. All the other scenes throughout the film of Duckman I could take but that first window scene scared me shitless! Even now, as a 41 year old it still raises the hair on the back of my neck. A bit silly really but never mind lol.

Great film though, it now takes pride of place in my dvd collection 😀.
