No Stick It Comparisons Yet?

Strangely enough i saw these two films days apart. I had no idea this one existed.
The Olivia/Keanu sex scene was cringeworthy.

Well, both movies sucked. I actually own this movie. It was $1 at Walgreens.

That's why her hair is so big. It's full of secrets.

Haha I actually own this movie as well. This sadly was one of my favorite movies when I was a kid, I was a gymnast, and there wasn't very many movies about gymnastics out there, so I loved this one. I saw it at Walmart for a couple bucks, and picked it up for nostalgic reasons :)

I too just saw a hideous version with an older looking Keanu and Olivia gracing the front cover with some other strange gymnast in the background on bars. I guess it beats the cover on here at least where the star Olivia D’Abo is completely missing and he is even weirder looking. I knew from the cover something would be wrong, but found it free in some old movies that were being donated. But since I'm a fan of both actors thought I’d give it a chance. The movie was a bit blurry at first and then sound went off track at the end. The worst part of the love scene was when the two leads were folding the sheets they just washed from the parents bed the morning after they lost there virginity, and Olivia’s character seemed to point out a stain. Tackyriffic! Then he brings her breakfast in bed the next morning I presume, where she jumps in surprise knocking the tray of food all over. Oh snap they're going to have to wash the bedding again. Ha ha.

Other then that it was a cute cliché filled 80's movie with the music, hair and clothes. The coaches’ red hair was hilarious. A modified mullet a la Mrs. Brady at one point. I loved how snazzy Keanu's character dressed and that Olivia's character was deemed a lesbian by her Stepdad because she wore big coat jackets with long blouses and rolled up sleeves and didn't date like her sister with even bigger and longer teased out hair. Also have to note that it was unrealistic that her character had big hair for competitions. Wouldn't that cause drag and be against the rules? It’s surprising that Olivia's character Robin did not end up with her anorexic gym buddy based on her female friend's admiration and their romp through Salvation Army Thrift store trying on clothes. I like the cheesy Niagara Falls footage that was thrown in at the end to make it like it they were actually there. I think the movie had a Karate Kid feel.

Oh I totally agree. "Lets have sex for the first time." And begin the most awkward way possible by standing directly in front if each other disrobing! Then cue the wailing 80's ballad "the first tiiiiiiime!"
