If you had just found out you're going to become a mutant fly like Seth Brundle did and know that you're doomed, would you have continued living like he did and gone through the transformation or said "fuck that!" and committed suicide. Honestly I would've blown my brains out if I were in Seth's situation, you're dead anyways......why suffer through that?
Pretty sure he was looking for a way to cure it or at least minimize it.
shareIt's a shame he didn't come up with Martin's cure from Fly 2, he might've survived. Although he was close with the gene swapping idea involving him, Ronnie, and the unborn Martin. He had the right idea but was too insane by the end to perfect it sadly. I just can't imagine waking up one morning and your cock and balls are falling off your body lol.
