Which horror remake do you prefer The Fly (1986) or The Blob (1988)?

The Fly. The characters are more likeable, the effects are phenomenal, and the pacing is great. Not a moment feels wasted or overblown.

Jeff Goldblum gives the performance of his career. It is endearing and downright tragic. The love story at the core of the movie is beautiful in how heartbreaking it is.

I can watch The Fly anytime.

The Blob is a lot of fun but The Fly is definitely the superior movie.
