I grew up watching this movie and unfortunately, when my house was destroyed by a recent flood, many of the movies that I used to watch, got thrown away, even though they weren't damaged. But I love this movie even though I'm in my mid-20's. I'll have to buy it someday on DVD.

It's one of my favorites. I'm waiting for the return of this kind of kids movie, though Gil Kenan has gotten pretty close.

also watching an awesome youtube video documentary it gives insights of how the movie was made, where the original alien craft models are kept and used as statues infront of i think movie sets
p.s because of that youtube video i found out sarah jessica parker was in this movie, i was too young to know back then, i was 8 XD
I really liked this movie a lot, I loved the chemistry between David and Max in the spaceship, overall I give an 8/10
