Fire With Fire is my all time favorite movie. I went to the theatre numerous times to see it and even traveled to where it was filmed and was able to see many of the locations. There is just something about this movie that is so special even though it is a fairly simple movie i.e. no special effects, no big budget movie. I do have the movie on VHS but am pretty sure they won't ever put it on DVD as there isn't that much demand for it. I'm also glad to know of the website links that have been posted on the board.

I think it was filmed in British Columbia Canada but exactly where I'm not sure.

When I went to the World's Fair in Vancouver, BC I was able to see some of the locations here is the list.

Cloverdale, Surrey, British Columbia, Canada

I LOVE the movie!!!! For some reason I was just sitting around yesterday and "Fire with Fire' just popped into my head. I looked to see if it was on Netflix but it's not.

It seems that you are correct about it just being on VHS. I checked Amazon and they only had it on VHS which is a bummer but luckily I own one of the DVD/VHS combos! Looks like I'll have to order it.

It's good to see that this movie has a fan base.

I am in search of purchasing a copy of this movie. I have been looking for it for years. I LOVE THIS MOVIE! I wish they would put it on DVD! But, if it's only on VHS, I'll order it since I too have a VCR/DVD combo. Any pointers on where to look? I'm gonna check out ebay.

Simply by letting me know that you just became my new favorite person! I checked Netflix when I started replying to this board and it wasn't there. Of course I'm thinking "Well if Netflix doesn't have it..." I put it on my Instant Queue so I can watch it tonight!

Thanks for sharing,i also love this movie,i had only seen the first hour as there was a movie on b4 it that i had taped and then the tape ran out,waited a long time to see the ending and loved it,very cool that u visited the set locations,id love to live out near those woods shown in the movie.

I absolutely love this movie. I just watched it on Netflix. What a great love story. One of my all time fave films from the 80's.

I love this movie too. I remember back in 1986 MTV played the video for the title song but it only consisted of clips from the movie- you never saw who was singing it. Then in 1992 HBO started airing this movie and I got to see it in its entirety. I think I eventually bought the VHS copy and was of course thrilled when it was released on DVD a few years ago. LOVE this movie!!! Wanted to be Lisa and run away with handsome Joe!!! I just wish she had not burned down that cabin at the end with the bacon and eggs on the griddle!
