Today's Ferris Bueller?

I'm a big fan of this movie but I wonder what movie today's teen embrace and identify with. I know occasionally there's a teen party movie, but I don't think those are successful.

Almost seems like today's movies are either animated ones for kids or biopics for adults. Not many for teens.

So where is today's Ferris Bueller? Are they even trying?

The last good movie I liked was peeks of being a wall flower. I guess the art of making these films died out. I'm glad I own them. They always have me inspiration and upbeat feeling
