Happy 20th birthday Eliminators

Twenty years on and still as fresh as ever.
Eliminators still ranks for me as as a forgotten classic sci-fi adventure.
It may have had a nothing budget, lo-tech special effects and a no star cast (at the time) but boy were they trying hard.

And it showed
No one will ever tell me the Borge did not get their look from the mandroid and that elements of his tragedy did not become part of the Robocop mythos.

Why isn't Peggy Mannix a star?
Andrew Prine has introduced me to no end of excellent off the main stream movies and cast against type Roy Dotrice should have become a career villian.

So happy birthday Eliminators, how about a reunion / sequel / remake ?

I agree! We need this movie on DVD...it is a "B" movie but very fun!

I wish it would come out on DVD! I had the unique experience of seeing this film in theaters on my birthday in 1986. As it turned out, that theater was to eventually become the last true freestanding silver screen in the United States. I saw a lot of obscure stuff there, too, like Metalstorm: The Destruction Of Jared Syn, in 3-D. King Kong Lives, Heartbeeps, Mac And Me, the remake of Invaders From Mars, Disorderlies, Return Of The Living Dead Part 2.
