no this movie flat out sucked, what is it with canadian films and sex....lets see a canadian war film already....we kicked ass in every war..that we were involved in....a movie about vimy ridge or how the americans screwed us over at dieppe! 900 dead canadians thanks to there lack of shelling! which they promised....anyways.....yeah sex..its cool but lets get over it canadian film makers!

shareI agree that maybe they could have talked about something a little more than sex. However, this did serve a purpose. The point of all the sex talk was to show the decline of Quebec culture, in that when all of the professors, and the supposedly elite people of society, got together, they werent talking about Quebec history or culture, but just about sex. It shows the shifting morals and values of Quebec culture.

shareIf you'd liked artsy foreign films, if you knew anything about it, you won't even tell it... Atsy is not still artsy for someone who is used to. You're just trying to appears smart. And especially for this movie. I don't consider this one could be considered as an "arsty" movie... There's nothing formally strong, it's really light. Nothing like an artsy loud movie.
It's just about a pleasure you can agree or deny.
